About

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in Computer Science at Örebro University, Sweden, supported by the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP) and affiliated with the AI, Robotics and Cybersecurity Center (ARC). My current research focuses on cybersecurity for embodied AI systems and autonomous sensor-driven platforms.

Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the DSP Laboratory, DITEN, University of Genoa, Italy, where I worked on human postural stability assessment using wearable IMU sensors and explainable deep learning models, within the PNRR-funded RAISE project. Prior to that, I contributed to the EU Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects 5G-INDUCE and 6GREEN at CNIT, University of Genoa, focusing on secure 5G edge-cloud architectures and network function virtualization.

I earned my Ph.D. in Telecommunications from the COSMIC Lab, University of Genoa, specializing in IoT cybersecurity, particularly LoRaWAN protocol vulnerabilities and lightweight cryptographic key-management frameworks. My doctoral work included a research visit to KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.

My research interests span cybersecurity for embodied AI, IoT security, lightweight cryptography, 5G and 6G communication systems, wearable sensing, machine and deep learning for sensor data analysis, and eHealth applications. I actively serve as a reviewer for several IEEE and Elsevier journals and engage in interdisciplinary collaborations integrating AI, signal processing, and communication technologies.
